La nostra storia
Hotel Bagnaia has so much history and has been run by the same family since 1910. In 1910, Mimmo Biscetti, a restaurateur opened his famous tavern in the main square of Bagnaia. Mimmo, after 30 successful years, passed his tavern on to his son Alfonso. Alfonso, with his family, ran the popular tavern successfully for more than 30 years after which the tavern was then passed on to his son Gastone. Gastone later added a hotel to the historical restaurant which meant they had to move out of the busy square to a more tranquil and reserved part of the village, always continuing and maintaining their traditions.
It was an ambitious project that aimed to promote the wonderful village of Bagnaia in which they succeeded. In 2017, Hotel Bagnaia was passed to the 4th generation where Gastone’s daughter manages the hotel whilst Gastone himself continues to work in the restaurant. The Biscetti family have certainly kept their family traditions alive and have conserved their passion of the hospitality industry.
